Admissions
To enroll in Advanced Yoga Studies or Teacher Training programs, candidates must complete and submit an application and application fee, and then be accepted into the program.
Requirements for Application
150-hour Advanced Studies Program
2 years of consistent study of Yoga, or a completion of a 200-hour or 500-hour registered Yoga teacher training program.
In cases where these requirements cannot be met, assessment and approval by BIYA Institute faculty members is required.
Students enrolled in the 150-hour Advanced Studies Program will be exempt from, but may audit Art of Teaching classes. Students enrolled in the 150-hour Advanced Studies Program will also be exempt from Apprenticeship, Student Teaching and most Electives.
The classes offered in the 150-hour Advanced Yoga Studies Program qualify for continuing education hours for Yoga Alliance.
300-Hour Teacher Training Program
A certificate from a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training Program,
