Program Description
The Ayurvedic training programs at Bhavana Institute are designed to systematically introduce students to the philosophy and practices of Ayurveda and to help them integrate these practices into their lives. Specifically designed for working adults and busy householders, the programs meet for 16 hours one weekend a month for 10 months. The Year Two program includes a six month internship.
Between class meetings students are expected to complete homework assignments that emphasize the practical integration of Ayurveda into their lives.
The Year One program, Ayurvedic Educator, prepares students to educate, serve, and guide their clients, students, and families in the Ayurvedic way of life. This is done through diet, lifestyle, and herbal methodology.
The Year Two program, Ayurvedic Practitioner, deepens the knowledge learned in Year One, preparing the student for, primarily, one-on-one work with clients.
